Rods of Mars

August 27, 2012 at 7:57 am (Uncategorized)

And now for something completely different
. My first (published) collaboration with another author: “Rods of Mars” is now available! The two of us have been working on this piece off and on for almost two years now, and now it’s finally done! This piece is a little different from the material you’ve come to expect from me– mature audiences only! Consider it a bit of an experiment, though Wunjo and I have talked about collaborating on another sequel if people like the style and sass of “Rods.”

About the authors:

SHAWN WUNJO is an instructor, author and rabid political activist. She has an MS in Government with a minor in Psychology. Shawn Wunjo is also the author of a number of banned books of edgy, mature (and definitely NSFW) political commentary so offensive that she still receives death threats years after their original publication.

E.S. WYNN is the author of over thirty books, the chief editor of Thunderune Publishing (and the associated magazines: Daily Love, Weirdyear, Yesteryear Fiction, Farther Stars Than These, Linguistic Erosion, and Smashed Cat Magazine.) He manages dozens of websites, has written hundreds of articles and short stories for a number of publications, has taught classes in literature, marketing, math, spirituality and guided meditation, voiced fifteen albums as a voice actor and even spent time working as a model for stock photography. He has a bachelor’s degree in English, has been trained in Reiki and other forms of energy healing and is a proud Freemason.

From the back cover:
At times insightful, at times delightfully hilarious, the tantalizingly sexy “Rods of Mars” is sure to turn you on– and keep you reading just to find out what happens next! When the enigmatic and studly Doctor Zex of the progenitor race trips and accidentally sends his time-traveling, world-hopping starship hurtling into the past, he inadvertently crash lands on the surface of Mars in the year 7331. Unable to leave until his starship has been repaired, the good doctor is forced to help the all-female staff of researchers at Mars Base unravel a mystery that is making everyone angry –and horny– before the tension destroys them all!

8/6 – 8/10

August 12, 2012 at 6:33 am (Uncategorized)

Lately I’ve started keeping a record of the number of words I’ve written in a given day. I find it motivates me. It makes progress more immediately visible and helps me set more realistic goals for myself. So, at least while I’m working on the “50 before I’m 30” challenge I’ve set for myself, I’m going to start posting weekly (useable) word-count progress reports. 🙂

This week:
Monday: 1,178
Tuesday: 4,716
Wednesday: 1,922
Thursday: 5,322
Friday: 3,495

Moon for Dez

August 10, 2012 at 5:01 am (pyrography)

This is the first piece of wood art I put together. It’s based off of a piece by wood artist Steven Jesse Wills. Because it was my first piece, “Moon For Desiree” was a gift for my fiance’. This piece is not for sale.
