Lately I’ve started keeping a record of the number of words I’ve written in a given day. I find it motivates me. It makes progress more immediately visible and helps me set more realistic goals for myself. So, at least while I’m working on the “50 before I’m 30” challenge I’ve set for myself, I’m going to start posting weekly (useable) word-count progress reports. 🙂
